Foster and friends raise $4.6-million for charity at celebrity concert
David Foster and his celebrity friends helped raise a whole lot of cash for a good cause at his star-studded 25th Anniversary Concert last night at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.
When all was said and done, organizers report raising $4.6 million for the families of kids needing organ transplants.
Various items and services were auctioned at the sold-out concert. The items included Foster’s personal grand piano, which fetched half a million dollars.
The concert was held one day after the David Foster Foundation raised over $114,000 dollars for the same cause during their annual Foster Friday Radio-Thon on CFAX 1070.
